First Team vs Shildon AFC (H) - Tuesday 13th August

After a battling 0-0 draw on Saturday, the two sides must do it all again tomorrow evening for a place in the Preliminary Round where Bet Victor North West Division side Colne await.

Saturday was the first time in five games where The Miners have avoided defeat to The Railwaymen, but they must upset the form book again if they're to progress on the road to Wembley. Its sure to be another difficult encounter with the current Northern League leaders, who'll be keen to return to the free-scoring form of their two games previous, but Rob Hunter's side did have chances of their own to have things sewn up in County Durham so shouldn't be over-awed by the task in hand. The tie will be played to a finish, so why not come along and watch two sides give it their all. Up the Miners!
