Kingsfield - News Update

By Stefan Rance

Positive news following recent meetings....

Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth are delighted to confirm that following discussions with Hampton Wick Cricket Club, Sport Richmond and Richmond Council it has been agreed that we will retain usage of the facilities at Kingsfield for at least the 2019/20 season.

The club are grateful for all the support and correspondence sent in on our behalf which helped ensure that we were able to have the positive discussions with our key partners.

Going forward this ensures we are able to confirm our place in the 4 leagues our 28 teams currently play in and plan ahead for next year. We are going to work alongside HWCC to help in maximising the use of the facilities at Kingsfield to the benefit of both clubs. We will also continue to speak to key stake holders to open up existing or new facilities to ensure we, along with other football clubs in the Borough, have the facilities they require.

We would like to thank Sport Richmond and Richmond Borough Council for assisting in facilitating the discussions with HWCC and look forward to continuing to work with them over the coming months as we develop our plans for the 2020/21 season.
