Illingworth booked their place in the second round of the Parish Cup with a comfortable win over neighbours Bradshaw.
An excellent opening spell from Tom Watson (9-4-10-2) got the visitors off to a great start, with Bradshaw being reduced to 28 for 4. The experienced heads of Simon Collins (39) and Dean Cotton (45) helped Bradshaw recover, and a quickfire 29 from Piers Fisher pushed the total towards 200. Ben Robertshaw and Liam Kelly shared five wickets at the end of the innings, but there was concern for Veryan Brooksby and Matthew Sewell, who damaged a finger and an ankle respectively in the field.
In reply, a solid opening stand of 116 between Callum Cook and Matthew Smith put the game out of Bradshaw's reach. Cook fell for 59 off 60 balls, but Smith stayed there until the end, finishing on 91 from just 68 balls. Stephen Cook's 28 off 12 balls brought proceedings to a close.
