Marine v Buxton - Preview

By Dave McMillan

Mariners host Bucks tomorrow...

Marine entertain Buxton tomorrow at the Marine Travel Arena in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division (3pm).

The Bucks sit outside the play off places by a goal difference of 1, with the Mariners currently 17th in the 21 team table and not yet safe from the drop, so a keenly contested contest is in prospect.

The sides met at Silverlands in January, the Mariners notching arguably their best away League win of the season with a 3-0 success after goals from Liam Hynes, Steve Irwin and Danny Mitchley.

Marine manager Neil Young has an injury worry around Brett Mbalanda with the striker facing a late fitness test. Midfielder Liam Hynes is unlikely to feature again this season through injury but defender James Joyce has now fully recovered following a lengthy spell on the treatment table.

Admission to the MTA is £10 adults, £5 concessions with accompanied U11s admitted free.

Everton, Liverpool, Tranmere Rovers and AFC Liverpool season ticket holders are admitted for £5 on production of their season ticket.

The annual Marine AFC beer festival will be running with a good selection of real ales and ciders priced at just £1.50 per half pint, and is free to attend.

The Graham Lounge will be hosting hospitality pre match and at half time, supporters and beer festival visitors should use the Arriva Suite with the Graham Lounge reopening to all after the game.
