Cents just about win.

Cents taken to the limit after determined fight back.
Cents had to hang on for a win after dominating the first half against visitors Wimborne RFC on Saturday.Leading 28-0 at half time Cents were forced to endure a second half dominated by visitors Wimborne who themselves scored 22 unanswered points.
This was a great game to watch and had everything you could ask for in a match played in the right spirit plus attitude by both sides who looked to move the ball from every where.
Cents dominated the first half and the way they played not many sides would live with at home, away from home is another matter.Cents scored after about five minutes through Joe Preece and they scored another three tries through Craig Ballinger,Kieran Blackmore plus a second from Joe Preece.Shay Morgan converted all four tries from various angles a vast difference from last week when he had a poor day converting anything.
There fore at half time Cents led 28-0 and they way they had been playing you would have expected them to move on to a bigger score after securing their try bonus point.However Wimborne did not roll over and produced a great fight back to have the home supporters on edge for the end of the second half.Running from deep they produced four top drawer tries of their own to force Cents on to the back foot for most of the half.In the end the difference between the two sides was the goal kicking which cost Wimborne a draw which was what their second half display warranted.
As mentioned earlier this was a game that had everything, a credit to both sides and the Wimborne players also proved to be a credit to their club off the field with a period of rousing singing plus games.Not many clubs have a sing song after matches and it was refreshing seeing another club enjoy themselves after a game.
Cents got five points from their match and Wimborne got two for scoring four tries plus losing bonus point.Cents picked up a couple of injuries during the match and already will be under pressure to pick a top side to play at Banbury next weekend.
