Bethesda RFC restore the faith with generous gesture

I am led to believe that after the Bethesda RFC new clubhouse opening and the game against Nant Conwy that a couple of old boys from the Llanrwst area hadn't realised that the Nant bus had gone without them.

With just a few quid in their pockets, and in a pickle, those generous Bethesda rugby folk in the bar had a quick whip round and £50 was raised within seconds to pay for a taxi home for this very grateful couple.

With all the nonsense that we've been hearing in recent times as region is pitted against region, North v South etc, isn't it fantastic to hear such a story as this. It is what makes our game different.

Long may it continue and well done Bethesda RFC.
