Knights unable to recover in time from early Stingers attack

Apologies as with rushing from the earlier Knights game to finishing off setting up the goals to starting the game no comprehensive notes were taken on this match so please do advise if your child scored.
A slow start and some very good finishing by an Oakworth player saw Silsden quickly fall behind but a late, gallant fight back saw Silsden bring the game back into contention but a final goal by Oakworth finished the game off.

Felix: Some good saves, came off his line to claim the ball more and enjoyed a stint playing out, getting involved with throw-ins, corners, passing, shooting, everything. Well done Felix!

Logan: Good tackles, strong, cleared the lines and made some excellent last ditch tackles to stop goal scoring opportunities. Well done Logan!

Joshua: All over the pitch, got stuck in, battled, drove forward with and took ownership of the ball. Well done Joshua!

Harry: Went looking for the ball and took a smack in the face with it for his trouble but rather than shy away he found strength to carry on and got more involved, tackling, passing and a shot near the end. Well done Harry!

Finlay: Played very well, went looking for the ball, tackled, turned defence into attack by driving the ball up the wing, focussed and keen. Well done Finlay!

Jack: Played a quarter out, tackled hard and used his strength before playing a quarter in goal making a fine save putting his before in front of a very powerful shot. Well done Jack!

Freddie: Played everywhere. Defended, tackled, battled, drove at defenders, put them under pressure by closing them down and rewarded with some goals. Well done Freddie!

All in all a good game for all concerned which we can take a lot of positives out of.
