SAD NEWS - IAN TARBET - RIP

By Steve Mudd

Ian Tarbet sadly passed away last night at the Garden House Hospice, Letchworth

Ian was an ex Stevenage player and longstanding dedicated supporter of the club.

After retiring from playing, Ian would often be seen with his friends standing on top of the embankment, watching the rugby, even up to the end of last season, before his illness prevented him from his favourite spot.

Sadly his battle with cancer took it's toll and with various complications he was moved to The Garden House Hospice, Letchworth, in the few days before he passed away.

Funeral arrangements are - Friday - 16th August at Harwood Park - 4.15pm with reception at the cricket club.

If people would like to post messages and / or photos of their cherished moments with Tarby please feel free to post here.
