First game of the season

New for most players and great performance

Just a quick line to say a massive WELL DONE to all of the U11 players who took part in a thrilling draw against a great Cheadle side today.

The game was played on a larger-than-expected pitch, which looked ominous as we only had 9 players and no subs.
Cheadle arrived with at least 15 players, so were able to rotate their team.

Despite this, the 9 Timperley players showed their spirit and determination to come from 4-2 down at half time and even lead the game 5-4 with 5 minutes to go.
A draw was probably a fair result in the end, and Cheadle were great opposition

Amazing resilience and fitness was on display all over the pitch. It was a great team performance all round for Timperley with some excellent play.

We have the makings of a great team here already. You should all be very proud of yourselves. Well done again!
