The Alloa side lost heavily to the high flying Fifers for the second time this season, but at least they went down fighting. Dunfermline were well on top for most of the match, but the Alloa lads did take the fight to their opponents and enjoyed some good spells of possession and territory but they failed to capitalise on this and the only reward for their efforts was a first competitive senior try for youngster, Blaine Gilchrist who did well to battle his way over the line from 5 metres out.
Alloa now have a chance to regroup before they face Glenrothes at Earlsfield on Saturday 26th January - 2pm KO.
