The first goal came in only the 6th minute, a long through by Michael Lacey causing chaos in the box and an Ash defender headed into his own net.
Bagshot continued to create a number of chances in the first half, and Tom Brazil made it 2-0 after 25 minutes, then Wes Kendrick hit a great volley before half time to make it 3-0.
Ash worked hard and tried to get back into the game at the start of the second half but Bagshot continued to create chances, and could have had several more before two goals from Jordan Merriman, the first a penalty, wrapped up a convincing 5-0 win.
All round a manager’s dream performance with all players having no less that a 7 out of 10, but man of the match performance from Sam Hanger.
Manager Brett Wickens said: “A great result today on a hot bank holiday Monday, every player played their part in this local derby. From the start we won our individual battles and worked hard for the full 90 minutes. We played on the oppositions weaknesses which we exploited leading to 3 first half goals! The boys should be very proud of their achievements this weekend but we have a long way to go ... so onto next week”.
