U16's rugby is classified as Junior Rugby.
Everyone is welcome to join the U16s regardless of skill or experience. Should you have any queries please do let us know and get in touch, We look forward to seeing you.
To qualify for the U16's squad, you must be 15 years old at the beginning of the season (1st September) - this equates to being in School Year 11.
Play is regulated by the standard IRB Laws of the Game modified by the IRB U19's Variations, which are then further modified by RFU Regulation 15 (Age Grade Rugby) U19's Variations (Appendix 2).

• Pitches : full-size Rugby pitch with standard markings.
• Ball Size : 5
• Players on Pitch : 15 players
• Max Fixture Duration : 35 mins each way - no extra time.
• Squad must have six (6) players who can play front-row positions.
• Unlimited rolling substitutions and substituted players may re-enter the game.
• Sin Bin time: 7 Minutes.
• NO WHEELING SCRUMS. NO KEEPING BALL IN SCRUM.
• MAX PUSH IN SCRUM IS 1.5 METERS.
• NO "SQUEEZE-BALL".
