Coventry Sphinx FC announce stadium sponsor: Ryona Engineering Supplies Ltd

For the first time in the 73 year history of Coventry Sphinx Football Club are delighted to announce a multi-year partnership agreement with Ryona Engineering Supplies Ltd which will see our Sphinx Drive home re-named the ‘Ryona Engineering Supplies Stadium’.

The partnership agreement will see Ryona Engineering Supplies Ltd become the club’s premier sponsor and will also see the Ryona logo appear on the front of the reserves and youth team home and away shirts, and on their polo shirts and tracksuits.

Coventry Sphinx Manager Lee Knibbs said: “We are honoured that Nick at Ryona has decided to join us in this partnership, the first of this kind that the club has known. We have had the opportunity to outline our future vision for the club to Nick and he is keen to be involved in supporting that”.

Ryona’s Managing Director Nick Draper said: “After being a key part of the Coventry business community for so many years, and with my son Jamie playing for Coventry Sphinx since the age of 8, this is a great opportunity to be able to support the football structure and give something back. I was especially impressed with the emphasis that Lee gave to the development of youngsters through the junior ranks and into the Youth, Reserves and First team. As a parent, I have been delighted to see the progress and support of my own son through this journey.

Nick continued: “I was also keen to be part of a club who support local charities and particularly Coventry Mind who are the Managers Charity of the Year.”
