Under 18s travel to Leicester Road

The Midland Floodlit Youth League Eastern Division title race resumes on Wednesday evening in Hinckley when Coventry Sphinx Youth travel to Leicester Road. Coventry Sphinx are currently in second place and just three points behind the leaders Barrow Town but a win for third place Leicester Road could also put them right in the title shake up.

Leicester Road had a slow start to the season with three consecutive defeats but since then they have won seven consecutive league games to lift them to third in the division. Their games in hand mean they still have a chance of catching the leaders so this fixture is crucial for both teams.

Last week the leaders Barrow Town were defeated at Lichfield which has made the title race wide open. Coventry Sphinx and Leicester Road can both close the leaders down so Wednesday’s match at the Leicester Road Stadium will prove critical in the final destination of the League title.

U16 can obtain free admission should they accompany a paying adult.

PARKING:
Leicester Road FC kindly ask all opposing team supporters to park in the bottom car park upon arrival (when entering the Stadium site directly on the left opposite GATE F ).
