Joint manager leaves Denbigh Town

By Stephen Whitfield

Good luck for the future Matty Jones

Joint manager Matty Jones has decided to resign from his post at Denbigh Town after a season running the first team with Dewi Llion.

Matty has circulated the following statement:-

" Due to the current circumstances at the club I have made the incredible tough decision to stand down from my role at Denbigh Town F.C.

It has been an incredibly tough season but one which I have thoroughly enjoyed and the challenges along the way have been huge for my own professional development.

I feel we can genuinely be proud of what we have managed to achieve considering what we were up against. We have had a number of local and young players come through and there have been some truly memorable wins.

I would like to pay special thanks to the players who have been superb and to Dewi, the Reserve Team management and a huge thank you to Iwan and Steve who have been brilliant with me throughout and to Shon as chairman. "

Everyone at Denbigh Town would like to say thank you to Matty for all his hard work and dedication and we all wish him all the best in what ever he decides to do in the future.

Good luck Matty. All the best!
