ESPH will be Dulwich Hamlet's main sleeve sponsor this season

Dulwich Hamlet Football Club are pleased to announce a partnership with ESPH, the Lordship Lane -based fitness and physio company. EPSH will become the club’s main sleeve sponsor, and work closely with the playing staff in supplying world class physio and fitness support.

Dulwich Hamlet’s first team returned to pre-season training last week and as part of a new fitness programme were inducted into ESPH’s Lordship Lane gym in East Dulwich. Each player took a fitness screening that was then used to create a personalised workout routine on its pioneering resistance training equipment eGYM that can be monitored via a wristband. The players were also put through their paces with a Pilates and spin session, led by ESPH’s team of professionals.

Going forward, the players will also receive regular conditioning and nutritional advice from ESPH clinic manager Gary Delahunt, who also acts as a physiotherapist for the Football Association of Ireland, and ESPH exercise manager Alex McMillan and teams.

Max Sharp, Managing Director of ESPH, said: “Ever since my first visit to Champion Hill in 1977, I have followed Dulwich Hamlet closely. I have huge admiration for the progress made in the last few years and when the opportunity arose to get involved I jumped at it. ESPH is in a unique position to add significant value in screening the players, assisting with injury management and access to secondary care as well as working on their strength and conditioning, nutritional planning and load management. We are really proud of our association with such a key Dulwich institution and look forward to helping the squad realise their ambitions this season and beyond”.

Tom Cullen, Director at Dulwich Hamlet, said: “Max came to us during pre-season with a willingness to support the club in whatever way ESPH could, and we’re thrilled to work in partnership with their world class team. Gary Delahunt and the physio team are working with the players in training, on the pitch and at their facility on Lordship Lane. ESPH recognise how much the club means not only to East Dulwich but to South East London, and keeping our players fighting fit is their number one priority going forward.”

Dulwich Hamlet fans can also make the most of ESPH’s world class facilities with a special membership offer with the East Dulwich gym comprising one month’s free entry to the gym with the purchase of any membership package.
