OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY & SUPPORT OUR CHARITY PARTNER

By Liam Hickey

We are delighted to announce the details of our specially commissioned shirt to raise money for our charity partner day Redthread this Saturday.

The first team will be wearing a special Redthread inspired shirt to mark the day.

The design, as shown in the main photo, incorporates the red of Redthread and the traditional pink of The Hamlet.

Outfield Shirt (Pink & red) Goalkeeper Shirt (Red and Blue)

There are no replicas for sale, and whoever successfully bids for them will have a unique piece of history.

We are launching a CLOSED AUCTION that begins at SIX O'CLOCK tonight, Wednesday 13th February 2019 & bidding must cease at SIX O'CLOCK in the evening on Friday 22nd February 2019.

Successful bidders will be notified by Monday 25th February & payment MUST BE RECEIVED within 72 hours of the bid being successful or the item will be offered to the next bidder in line.

Payments will be received for the charity through the '12th Man' Bank account, but every penny raised will be forwarded to Redthread..

Each winner will receive the shirt from one of starting line-up and substitutes from the match on Saturday 16th February 2019 against Hemel Hempstead Town. Shirts will be presented to the winning bidders at our home game on Saturday 16th March 2019. If you are unable to attend this match, alternative arrangements can be made to ensure you get your shirt.
HOW TO BID:
All bids are to be received via email to community.dhfc@gmail.com with REDTHREAD SHIRT BID in the subject line.
You MUST state your full name and contact phone number.

The minimum bid per shirt is £50 for any of the shirts.

You may bid on the individual kit numbers, with the sizes as follows:
Kit Number and Size
1 MEDIUM (Goalkeeper)
2 SMALL
3 MEDIUM
4 MEDIUM
5 LARGE
6 LARGE
7 SMALL
8 MEDIUM
9 MEDIUM
10 MEDIUM
11 MEDIUM
12 MEDIUM
13 MEDIUM (Goalkeeper)
14 MEDIUM
15 LARGE

The highest bid for each shirt number will win the shirt with that number on the back.
However, we are ALSO accepting general bids for ANY shirt (excluding 1 and 13), and if ANY of these bids are successful they will BEAT the highest bid on a numbered shirt.

So if you want to bid on ANY shirt simply state 'ANY' as opposed to the shirt number.

We shall list an update on bids after the first weekend, and again, during the week leading up to the closing date, but NO NAMES OF BIDDERS WILL BE DISCLOSED..

We look forward to receiving some good bids on this special once in a lifetime kit and hope it will raise lots of money for a fantastic cause.

If you have any questions, please contact Rob on community.dhfc@gmail.com.
