Pre-season ends on a positive note

Garforth wrapped up their pre-season schedule with a one-goal win.
Curtly Martin-Wyatt was on hand to slam home Joe Colleys' pass in the sixteenth minute, just moments after he'd struck the post in the same passage of play.

With reduced squad numbers, Rob Hunter rotated players in different positions throughout the game.

The second half wasn't as fluid as the first for the Miners and Nostell pushed them all the way in search of an equaliser (substitute keeper Steve Weatherill made a flying save to deny them moments from the end).

Another good workout ahead of next Saturdays' NCEL campaign opener at home to Handsworth.
