GNIC Sports Club Led Transport Sports Club (TSC) on 1st Innings To take The Noble House Seafoods 2016-17 Title.

Man Of The Match Rafael Singh’s Match Haul of 13 Wickets For 87 Runs Was Not Enough To Stop GNIC.

GNIC batting first managed 167 runs; Stephan Campbell made 63 runs, Mark Nicholson 33 runs and Premchan Sookdeo scored 28.

Bowling for Transport; Rafael Singh took 6 wickets for 29 runs and Joshua Wilson took 1 for 15.

In reply Transport was dismissed for 123 runs in 52.2 overs; Shaun Massiah top scored with 26 runs and Charwayne McPherson made 16.

Bowling for GNIC; Gajanan Suknanan took 4 wickets for 29 runs, Clyde Butts took 3 wickets for 8 runs and Deswin Butts took 2 for 24.

Batting a second time, GNIC was dismissed for 138 in 58.2 overs; Kurt Lovell made 40 runs, Mark Nicholson made 35 and Clyde Butts 24.

Bowling for Transport in the 2nd innings: Rafael Singh had even better figures than the first innings, he took 7 wickets for 58 runs, Azeem Azeeze took 2 for 25 and Joshua Wilson took 1 for 6.

The captains agreed to call off the game because less that 20 overs remained in the game and an outright result was unlikely.
