Prim's restored local bragging rights with a convincing 3-1 win over local rivals Borrowash Vic's.
Vic's who recently registered the entire playing staff of Mickleover Royals following the teams withdrawal from the league, suffered their first defeat as Borrowash Vic's.
The Prim's team performance was unrecognisable following their 4-0 defeat away to Stapenhill only 48 hours previously, being confronted with a Vic's team comprised of the Mickleover Royals players the team who recently resigned from the league.

Prim's took the lead late in the first half when Jordon Gilhooly fed the ball to Sam Hawkins who made no mistake beating Wayne Smith in the Vic's goal.

Young Gilhooly playing down the Prim's right fed a similar ball to Mikey Fitzhugh in the 68th minute as Prim's extended their lead.

Vic's reduced the arrears in the 85th minute with a more direct approach as
sub Anthony Rowley scored for Vic's.

Prim's however had the final say in the score line when James Rushby supplied Dean Oliver with a perfect ball in front of the Vic's goal, Dean scored Prim's third goal of the game to complete a Bank Holiday celebration to remember.

Managers Simon Van De Broucke and Alan Thorley made light of their first but important local Derby by giving the entire team a weeks break. Prim's next fixture should have been against Mickleover Royals who's results still populate the EMCL website.
