Cloisters 2018 done.

On the warmest bank holiday since 1st May 2018 club members took part in the annual Cloisters cycle ride starting from Stanstead Village hall. We must congratulate 'Bugsy' Ian Jones and possibly some of his family on completing every Cloisters ride since it began 10 years ago.
There were 3 rides to choose between with the fun ride of 15 miles being ignored. The 23 and 44 miles courses split at the start but we all met for lunch at Meopham church hall.
All riders completed the routes with smiles on their faces at the end.
A couple of incidents of note that need to be shared with members......... Some riders did not use club attire ( you will see for yourself in Picture Albums)
Speedy tri athlete, Jenny Wallace hoodwinked Marcus in arriving by car rather than a gentle 9 mile warm up.
