1st XI CAPTAIN LIFTS 2 TROPHIES

By DORIAN BROOKSBY

Double for Ben on Points

The Annual ICC Golf Championship was held at Bradley Hall Golf Club which was in immaculate condition.

1st XI Captain, Ben Robertshaw, lifted a trophy with his first shot of the Competition, the 'Longest Drive' Award.

Warm but windy conditions made the 18 holes a little tricky on occasions. However, it was Robertshaw who's back 9 haul of 17 points which enabled him to lift the overall Winner's Chalice with 27 points, but only on count-back from Steve Smith (and after it had been glued together having been dropped just prior to the presentation - PGA Pros wouldn't make good fielders !!!!).

PGA Pro, Tim Pollard, secured the 'Nearest the Pin' Award on the final hole, just centimetres ahead of rookie and 'TFC' recipient for the day, Adam Mellor.

Players were able to receive, and were appreciative of, other fantastic Callaway prizes which were once again generously donated by Club Member, Howard Watson.

Thanks to all Staff at Bradley Hall Golf Club for being excellent hosts for the day once again.
