Reserves win fifth game on the bounce against top of league to go up to second!

The Reserves faced top of the league Stockton Utd at home looking to win their fifth consecutive match.

In a cagey opening there were not many chances for either side, Andwayne Taylor coming closest for the home side with his one in one effort denied in the opening exchanges.

As the home side began to build pressure the score was eventually opened on the half hour mark as a good through ball from Aidan Foley found the on running Brandon Hoey who finished neatly. 1-0.

With Hibs now on top and half time approaching the score was eventually doubled as in form Luke Marriott saw his in swinging corner travel all the way in. 2-0.

The teams came back out second half with Hibs in full flow and it wasn’t long before the game was put to bed. A nice passing move finished off well by top scorer Harry Davies. 3-0.

There was little to shout about in the closing exchanges. Mitchell Williams and Harry Davies coming closest who both failed to score late one on ones. The score finished 3-0.
