......is still on sale.

Odds & Ends
1. Old friends Mendip Morris Men have sent a message to say that, as a result of their Extraordinary General Meeting on 27th February, they have decided to allow women into membership and the name of the team is henceforth Mendip Morris.
I’m also reliably informed that Manchester MM have taken the same decision at a recent EGM. Just one problem: at the first ‘open’ meeting no prospective female members turned up!
In addition, last Monday’s copy of The Times carried an article on this very matter of teams associated to the Morris Ring deciding to accept female members. It’s a pity it hadn’t been better researched (or better written!) but it’s said that ‘all publicity is good publicity’.
2. Well, wasn’t it a nice surprise, last Monday night, to have Jeff Warwick among the musicians again – after 42 years!!
3. Last Tuesday’s Leyland Guardian, Retro Section, had in it a copy of the photo of the team in 1928 – and readers were being asked to put names to faces. RS has sent in the names of each and every one! We’ll see what comes of the response.
