Blues appoint Gavin Macpherson as new boss

By Lucas Flanders

The club are pleased to announce that all of Gavin, Jon Nurse and Scott Tarr will form the new Blues management team

Chairman of Met Police FC, Des Flanders, is pleased to announce that Gavin Macpherson will become Manager, replacing Jim Cooper with immediate effect. Gavin will retain his backup team of Jon Nurse and Scott Tarr and this will provide stability to the Club at a very difficult time with a transfer to the Southern League pending – subject to an appeal.
Gavin has been with the Club well in excess of 20 years as a player, Manager and assistant to Jim over the past 15 years during which time we have experienced considerable success. He has a commendable background in football having played with multiple Football League sides. We are fortunate to have Gavin available to pick up the reins and look forward to further success.
