Team news
There were full debuts for Jerry Amoo and Kershaney Samuels, while Michael Kamara, Michael Onovwigun and Ryan Gondoh made their second debuts for the club. Ola Sogbanmu led the line, while midfielder Ernald Haxhiu was named among the substitutes.

Kick-off
Blustery conditions played havoc with proceedings early doors and neither keeper faced a shot of any note during the first 20 minutes.

Then, on 27 minutes, a long ball caused some hesitancy between Daniel Pappoe and Billy Bishop, and Town's Thomas Gogo tried to nip in.

The winger caught the goalkeeper in the head and Bishop had to leave the field with suspected concussion - Pappoe donned the gloves in absence of a sub keeper.

But neither side could make a breakthrough, in fact chances were at a premium until first-half stoppage.

Josh Hutchinson managed to get some space down the right on 45 minutes and his low cross found an unmarked Bradley Sach, but the forward inexplicably guided the ball off target from six yards.

Carshalton broke and Ricky Korboa managed to get behind Quarrington-Carter and the defender pulled him down - it seemed inside the box but the referee gave a free kick on the edge which was eventually cleared away.

HALF-TIME: 0 - 0

The deadlock was broken seven minutes after the break and the wind played a part – Bobby Price misjudged a high ball and Michael Kamara had to come across to cover Hutchinson, but the striker squared the ball to an unmarked Sach whom buried it in low from 12 yards.

And Town doubled that lead just after the hour as a Ryan Young shot caused some pinball inside the Robins’ area before Hutchinson crashed home a firm shot beyond the helpless Pappoe.

Christie Pattisson and Haxhiu were introduced after each goal but, in all honesty, it was game over after the second goal.

The closest Carshalton came to even reducing the arrears came on 85 minutes after Jerry Amoo displayed some neat footwork beating two opponents before playing a neat through ball that Pattisson burst on to, but his shot went the wrong side of the near post.
