2019 Club Championships

Thank you to all those who entered, played and supported the 2019 Club Championships.

Following a finals day of closely fought and absorbing contests we can now announce the winners and runners up.

Ladies’ Singles - Anna McWilliams(3) defeated Louise Targett(4) 7-5 6-4

Men’s Singles - Graeme Alston(1) defeated Andy Sharp(2) 3-6 6-3 6-1

Ladies’ Doubles - Fiona Bickley & Louise Targett(1) defeated Jackie Llewellyn & Janet Kenny(2) 7-5 6-2

Men’s Doubles - Andy Sharp & James Callow(1) defeated Brett Mackay & Chris Ogden(5) 6-4 6-3

Mixed Doubles - Clara Alston & Graeme Alston(3) defeated Sarah Pearson & Dougal Bridger(7) 6-1 3-6 6-3

Now that the 2019 Club Championships have been completed we can look forward to the Handicap Tournament and 2019 Junior Championships. These will open for entries in August. Please look out for notices in the club house and the weekly news round up.
