... for the 2019/20 season

Lewis Cracknell, who passed his 50th 1st XV appearance in last season's campaign, has committed his future to Shelford and is excited about what’s ahead. Lewis said:

"I’ve played at Shelford since I was 6 and playing for the 1st XV has been fantastic. I learnt a lot about myself in the season just gone as it was really tough and we all had to dig deep to keep going. We can all see we were beginning to put performances together as the season ended and with some familiar faces returning, and a few new signings, we are all excited about what we might achieve."

Paul Allen (Head Coach) said:

"Lewis is a great example of a local lad pushing through to the 1st XV and making a real name for himself. He has a dream of a left foot and coupled with his all round skill set will continue to develop as we move through the season."
