Firefly's v Cardinal Diamonds

What a come back :)

With no training for 2 weeks due to half-term and a session being cancelled this evenings match was always going to be a tough one and we had a very slow start to the first quarter with the opposition taking advantage and securing a 4 goal lead at the end of the first quarter.
A quick talk and regroup of positions with some fresh legs coming on saw the girls come out with a new determination and were able to bridge the earlier deficient which meant at half-time the Firefly's were now only 1 goal down.
All 9 players worked hard in defense and attack and kept pilling on the pressure to force the errors from the opposition and gain possession of the ball. Once gained everyone was quick to react and space out to make the passing easier ad safer using the front space options. All the shooters gained confidence as the match went on and with the support of all the team mates the Firefly's were able to bring the score level at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
Final quarter, some more fresh legs and change of positions kept the momentum and intensity up to secure the win as the final whistle blew after a very tiring 40 minutes.

Really fantastic performance of determination and team work from all 9 players to work hard and safely deliver the ball to the shooters. Well done to all the players, it was nail biting to watch but you all did amazing focusing on your own individual jobs.
