Ladies 1sts make the long trip to top of the league Lindum.

Fielding an under strength side, with young Yasmin Marshal, helping out with a last minute call up. Thirsk started slowly and conceded a scrappy 2nd minute goal but responded well, defending brilliantly and creating chances. They managed to keep Lindum down to 1 nil at halftime.
With both sides evenly matched, chances were created with keepers from both sides excelling. Lindum scored a 2nd goal halfway thru the half, which was quickly followed by a 3rd goal. Thirsk were tiring noticeably, but still kept pushing trying to get a consolation goal that their play deserved.
It wasn't to be, so final score was 3 nil to Lindum.
It's been a tough season for Thirsk but they kept always giving 100%, blooding several youngsters throughout the season, The future looks bright.
