REACTION: Frustration for Robinson

Boss gives his verdict on our 3-2 loss at Billericay Town...

WHITE Tigers’ manager, Leigh Robinson, has given his verdict on Saturday’s game at Billericay Town where we came from two goals down to draw level, only to ultimately go down 3-2.
“It was another highly frustrating day where we more than matched one of the better sides in the League, but much like our previous game on Tuesday evening, we came away with no points due to individual errors,” he said. “There are plenty of positives from both of these games in terms of performance, the fight that we’ve showed and our constant goal threat, but I’d much rather be sitting here having played worse but with a couple of points to show for it.
“Talk is cheap in terms of talking about what we could have done, should have done or deserved to get; football is about results and we have to start finding a way of chiselling out points from games like Tuesday and Saturday.
“We’ll be training hard twice this week to try and find a way to fix these errors that have cost us at least two points this week, possibly more than that, as we look towards a big home game against Oxford City on Saturday.”
