After a disappointing loss on the road to Foots Cray, Whitstable will be looking to right their wrongs in a local derby against Faversham.
The Blues dropped points for the first time in the New Year as they found themselves on the wrong side of a 14-8 score line. The disappointing display meant they drop back to second in the league.
The last time these two sides met Whitstable came away with all five points after putting four tries and a conversion past The Castaways in windy conditions. Faversham responded with two unconverted tries and a penalty but left empty handed.
Despite struggling for the most part this season, Faversham always seem to find another gear when the two rivals meet. Currently in 6th place with four wins in 11 games Faversham will be eager to turn their season around with a big display against the Blues.
Whitstable will have to improve on their performance a fortnight ago if they are to continue applying pressure at the top of the league, and chance to do that at home in a local derby is one they will relish.
