After Saturday's disappointing 3-0 defeat away at Parkgate Andy Foster's side will be desperate for their first goal and win of the season. Saturday was a strong warning of what we are going to face in this division. At times the football will be secondary so we will have to toughen up a lot.

Brigg had 15 attempts on goal and this is an area we need to sharpen up. Or as the fans said just a change of luck in front of goal would help.

Staveley Miners suffered an opening defeat at home to Bridlington when the visitors took away a 2-0 victory
This follows a season that saw the Inkersall Road sir finish ninth in the table with sixty six points.

Staveley again will provide tough opposition for The Zebras but a win for Brigg will settle the side down for the season.
