Like us, Barking conceded a third goal on Saturday in added time at the end of their game at Marlow. Unlike us, who drew, it made their defeat look harsher than they would have liked.

They will be looking to improve on that this Tuesday, though Ware will also feel an improvement is necessary having dropped two points so late on against Staines.

Our first meeting was over a hundred years ago when we won a friendly 5-1 against a side from Barking. It's interesting to note that in the eight meetings since then (all after 1977) we have scored just four goals. Most recently we lost twice against them in the 2017/8 Bostik North Division, 1-0 on each occasion. So there's something to make up for on Tuesday night.
