Carlisle hit the M6 again this week to travel down to Stockport RFC. The Cheshire side endured a difficult season last year, subsequently being relegated from North 3. However under the new coaching structure led by former England, Worcester, Sale and Toulon player Dean Schofield, the side have made a solid start to the season with two bonus point wins under their belt. Although early days yet they share the top position with Northwich, Wilmslow and Vale. Carlisle will be keen to get amongst them with a strong showing at the Memorial Ground. A few positional changes this week with weddings and stag do's to the fore, but the strength in depth this year means that there are plenty of players eager and willing to get involved and claim a spot in the starting 15.
Bus leaves the clubhouse at 10.45am and supporters welcome to travel down with the bus.
