South Shields Westoe entertain league leaders Northern at Wood Terrace this weekend.

After a couple of below standard performances they will need to be back to their best form to ensure a win against a talented side currently favourites for the title.

Availability uncertainties mean yet another delayed team announcement, however with a growing strength in depth they should be able to field a strong eighteen.

Westoe will need to learn from previous defeats and not allow the opposition to set the tone of the match and play to their own strengths throughout.

Northern will be a hard nut to crack having lost only once this season against second place Durham City; and with Westoe slipping to fifth after recent weeks this is a game they need to win to keep in touch with the top four.
