A local derby, well both teams are in Suffolk, so a derby of sorts as AFC travel up the A12 or the A146, to take on 'The Trawlerboys' of Lowestoft Town.
Certainly AFC Manager Jamie Godbold and Assistant Manager Andy Reynolds will feel at home at Crown Meadow Lowestoft both having spent many seasons there and having great success with the North Suffolk side.
On their return the duo will be hoping to put one over the home side and continue AFC's good start to their first ever Ryman Premier League campaign. Currently sitting in fourth place in the early season table.
Lowestoft have had a mixed start to the season winning twice, drawing once and losing twice, meaning seven points and tenth place in the table. In their squad they have two ex-AFC players in Jake Reed and Jamie Forshaw.
The AFC squad should be bolstered by the return of defender Ben Robinson, who missed Saturday's home win against Enfield Town, not risking a slight strain. The game will see the return to Crown Meadow of wide man Rob Eagle who joined AFC at the start of the season and goalkeeper Marcus Garnham who was there last season.
