In the second instalment of Tadcaster v Ossett, it’s the turn of Ossett Town to visit the i2i Stadium in a tasty looking league encounter on Halloween.
The Brewers return to league action buoyant after their League Cup victory over the Ossett neighbours on Saturday as goals from Josh Greening and a rocket from Conor Sellars sets up a trip to Cleethorpes Town in the Second Round.
Town, who lost out in the Play-Off Final last season to Farsley, suffered FA Trophy disappointment on Saturday losing 3-1 to Droylsden at Ingfield.
Away from cup exploits, Ossett have had much greater joy on the road and are unbeaten after winning four and drawing one.
Three points for Taddy this evening would see Michael Morton’s side leapfrog Ossett and climb up to as high as seventh place in the Evo-Stik First Division North.
Ossett currently sit in tenth place but this is largely down to their impressive FA Cup run as Grant Black’s side have several games in hand over the majority.
In this fixture last season, a late late Danny Frost goal saw Ossett steal all three points away from the Brewers.
Team News: Conor Sellars likely to start after netting the winner at the weekend. Pete Davidson ruled out after pulling up in the first half on Saturday with a reoccurrence of his hamstring injury. Jason Mycoe looking to keep his place but captain Andy Milne likely to be recalled.
Former Brewer Jake Ellam set to face his old side.
