Lancashire side Clitheroe are the visitors on Saturday with the Brewers looking to record a first league victory since the end of September.

If you look ahead to some of the fixtures coming up with trips to Glossop, Hyde and South Shields all on the horizon, this is the kind of match where Albion could really do with picking up maximum points.

League positioning matters for very little when looking at a contest but the Brewers and Clitheroe boast almost identical records, make of that what you will.

Both teams sit in mid-table on 18 points from 15 games and win would see either jump into the top ten in the Evo-Stik First Division North.

In this fixture last season, a single Tom Corner goal saw Taddy take all three points at the i2i Stadium with Clitheroe winning the reverse fixture 3-1.

If the Brewers are going to keep a clean sheet they will have to keep a close eye on the league’s joint top goal scorer Kurt Willoughby who has netted eleven times.

Clitheroe visit Yorkshire somewhat deflated after conceding a worldie from Emile Sinclair in injury time to share the points with Ossett Town last week.

Taddy return home on the back of a 2-0 midweek County Cup victory at Barnoldswick Town with Josh Greening and Tom Corner scoring early which proved to be the difference.

Team News: Michael Ingham and Andy Milne are both unavailable as they are away with i2i’s International Soccer Academy so Greg Hartley and Jason Mycoe likely to keep their places. Aaron Hardy and Pete Davidson likely to remain out.
