Cooky & Kempy return for must win match.
The Cherry & Whites welcome back two long term injury victims Damien Cook and Ben Kemp for Saturday's crucial fixture with Weston Super Mare at the REC.
It will be just the second appearance of the season for player/Coach Cook and the first in 55 weeks for Kemp following a broken arm sustained at Hornet on January 7th last year.
The pair have been working hard in training over the past few weeks and selectors feel the time is right for them to return and bolster the pack. It's a big boost for the squad which has been lacking specialist second row forwards for virtually the whole season.
There is also a return for Captain Jon Drew after the prop missed last weeks match due to a virus. Tommy Leigh-Southworth reverts to his usual position of hooker after playing as a makeshift flanker at Bracknell with Sam Bartle droping to the bench. The backs remain unchanged from last week but former Cornish Pirate Rhodri Mcatee has come in on the bench.
This is probably the strongest lineup of the season for 'Town', a team selected not only selected with the opposition in mind but also the predicted conditions.
New Director of Rugby Liam Chapple is delighted to have these players returning from injury and is hoping to see a big crowd at the REC on Saturday to get behind the squad.
