AK has provisionally been awarded a financial grant through the NatWest Rugby Force. To obtain the award AK has to ensure that a certain number of club members attend on the allotted weekend and receipts are produced for materials bought. Representatives of the North West RFU will also be attendance at the event. The allotted weekend is that of 15th/16th June but at AK we will only be holding the working party on the Saturday from 10am.......

In February 2012 our neighbour’s son, Andy, died of Friedrich's Ataxia at the age of 22. This was really shocking for us all. Andy’s family have been involved at AK for a long time, and introduced us to the club. His dad used to coach the juniors and his brother, Ben, still plays for the seniors.....

AK will kick-off their 2013/14 campaign in North One West with a home fixture against Carlisle on 07 Sept followed by a trip to Mint Bridge to face Kendal on 14 Sept. Other noticeable fixtures include Liverpool St Helen's (h) on 05 Oct, Broughton Park (a) on 12 Oct, Wilmslow (h) on 02 Nov and Vale of Lune (h) on 16 Nov.
