Scores a hat trick on his England Schoolboys debut

Everyone at Ash United FC would like to congratulate former youth team player Dean Rule on his call up to the U18 England Schools Squad. Following regional and national trials Dean has been selected in the 18 man squad to take part in the Centenary Shield. This will include international games against Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. These games will take place in March and April following 3 planned friendly games which start on the 26th January against Australia.

Whilst playing for Ash United Youth Dean was managed and coached by the current U18 management team of Stuart Warren and Malcolm Hughes for 4 seasons. During this spell the youth team won 3 league titles, 2 league cup finals and the Surrey County Cup. Over this period with the help from his team mates Dean scored over 160 goals for the Ash youth team. Dean then made the decision to join the U18 side at Camberley Town to test himself in the Ryman / Isthmian youth league. At the start of this season Dean was selected to represent the Surrey County U18 team which started his journey to the national side.

On 9 February England Schoolboys played UCFB (UCFB is a college of Bucks New University) in Manchester at the Belle Vue Sports Village and Dean Rule scored a hat trick on his England Schoolboys debut. Added to that the current crop of England Schoolboys Under 18's now have panini stickers!
