Bedford Town Football Club is proud to announce the addition of Gordon Boateng to the club’s management structure.

The Eagles are delighted to have added such an experienced individual of non-league football and believe he will become a valuable part of the club. He has joined in the role of Performance Analysis Coach.

Boateng was recently manager at Bishops Stortford FC in the National League South and scout at Wealdstone FC. Previously he was head of football at Histon FC when in the Conference Premier, first team coach at Dagenham and Redbridge, and Manager at Cheshunt FC. Gordon also played for Kvinesdal IL in Norway, Leyton Orient and Bristol City.

Speaking to www.bedfordeagles.net, manager Jon Taylor said “We are really looking forward to Gordon working alongside the other members of the management team. He will help improve our work ethic and professionalism, both at training and on a match day. I am sure he will be relishing the opportunity to help us improve on and off the pitch, as much as he possibly can.”

Taylor continued “Gordon will assist Paul Benson (Head of Coaching) with improving players on the training ground, focusing on position specifics and the team’s shape in and out of possession. He will also generate opposition team reports for Nathan and myself, giving us key insights into sides we will be facing. He will be a very valuable asset to my management team, and we will use his knowledge and experience in the game to continue moving the club forward in the right direction.”

Gordon’s role commences immediately. We know you will all welcome him to the Eagles family.
