1. Function Room Hire at The Eyrie


The Maxey Suite is the main function suite and is perfect for large events such as weddings and parties. It can cater for up to 150 people at a sit-down dinner or for around 200 at a standing event. Guests can make use of the Eagles Bar, which stocks a wide range of drinks for any event.

From parties to wedding receptions, we will endeavour to make your event run as smoothly as possible and can offer the following services:

Catering Facilities

We can offer sandwiches or hot/cold buffets or a 3 course meal. Danny from Top Nosh is our resident caterer and will be happy to discuss menu options with you.

Music & Entertainment

We can recommend DJ's or refer you to an event management company. We can also provide access to our Bluetooth enabled sound system, if preferred.

Business Functions

Large screen for presentations and exhibitions, plus microphone facilities, the room can be set up for all your presentation and conferences requirements.

The Boardrooms are a suitable choice for smaller meetings of up to 40 people, including the use of a smart TV.

Business functions can occur in all shapes and sizes. Here at The Eyrie, we have three separate rooms available for business functions, all available as full and half day packages. The choices below are sure to fit the needs of most of your business function needs...

The Maxey Suite

  • Seats up to 120 people
  • Large room with space for many different seating arrangements (banquet style, cabaret style, family style, auditorium/classroom style, conference/boardroom style, horseshoe style, hollow square style
  • Equipped with a 15ft projector for presentations/displays from a laptop
  • In-house audio system with 2x wireless microphones
  • The suite has its own bar (for an additional hourly charge)
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided for an additional cost
  • Alternatively, we can offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for an additional cost
  • Toilet facilities, including disabled toilet

The David Taylor Suite

  • Seats up to 32 people
  • Medium, intimate room for medium sized conferences
  • Options for different seating arrangements (banquet style, horseshoe style, conference/boardroom style, auditorium/classroom style)
  • Equipped with a 42-inch wall-mounted TV for presentations from a laptop
  • The suite has its own bar (for an additional hourly charge)
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided for an additional cost
  • Alternatively, we can offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for an additional cost
  • Toilet facilities, including disabled toilet

The Rhys Price Suite

  • Seats up to 12 people
  • Smaller, intimate room for small-scale conferences
  • Options for different seating arrangements:
  • Conference/boardroom style
  • Equipped with a 42-inch wall-mounted TV for presentations from a laptop
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided for an additional cost
  • Alternatively, we can offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for an additional cost
  • Toilets, but no disabled toilets
