Hitchin Town 3 Eagles 2

Bedford took the game to Hitchin from the start and were 2-1 up at half time with goals from Dylan Gittens and Kyle Lincoln. Sandwiched in between, Lewis Rolfe converted a penalty for the hosts.
Although not having their own way in the 2nd half, Bedford at least deserved to take the game to penalties. Brett Donnelly equalised for Hitchin, but the heartbreaker came a minute into stoppage time when Alasan Ann converted a free kick.
