The Eagles are back on their travels on Tuesday night as a journey to Capershotts awaits to face Waltham Abbey. Last time out, Bedford won 1-2 against a tough Thame United side away from home.
On Saturday, Bedford left the ASM Stadium with all three points after a solid win against Thame. Goals from Alex Collard and Ryan Blake sealed the deal for the Eagles.
Previously, Bedford drew 1-1 with Kings Langley in a tight match against a good side at the Eyrie. Lynton Goss put the Eagles ahead, but the away side equalised following a Louie Collier penalty.
Eagles striker Ryan Blake has been in the goals a lot for Bedford since joining in the summer. Blake currently sits on nine goals following his goal against Thame as well as plenty of assists.
Waltham Abbey have had a strong start to the season and sit eighth in the league after eight matches. Four wins, one draw and three losses puts the Abbotts in a comfortable position.
Recently, Waltham Abbey have been in good form. They picked up a great away win at The Eyrie against Biggleswade FC in late September as well as a 0-2 win over Stotfold prior to that.
Also in September, the Abbotts smashed Ipswich Wanderers 6-2 at home in the ISUZU FA Trophy. Six different goal scorers saw the home side comfortably advance to the next round.
Try to make your way to Capershotts on Tuesday evening for this big game!
