In the first half Matt Bateman and Kyle Anthony could not finish with their heads as many crosses were put over. The deadlock was broken by newcomer from Bovingdon, Will Summerfield, who put Berko in front after the interval. A trialist came on and had a goal disallowed with the referee awarding a penalty as he netted instead of playing advantage. Courtney Massay made it 2-0 from the spot. The trialist added a third and Marcus Campbell made it 4-0 to put Berko in good heart for their short Emirates FA Cup trip to Tring on Saturday at 3PM.

Berko's development team were leading 1-0 with a Colin Parrott goal but a late free kick enabled Hatfield to rescue a draw. The development side are at Chipperfield tomorrow night (Thursday) and at home to Bedmond on Saturday with a 1pm kick off at Broadwater.
