Lancashire have named their side to face Durham at Blaydon this Saturday. Following the opening day win at Cheshire, Mark Nelson's coaching team have made some changes to the starting line-up.

Jordan Dorrington switches wing to accommodate Hartpury College's Niall Crosley for his first start in a Lancashire shirt, while Dan Birchall makes his first appearance of the campaign replacing Ben Black at loosehead. Bergerac's Jon Nugent moves into the middle of the pack from the back row, with Steve McGinnis starting at number seven with captain Evan Stewart switching to openside.

Head coach Mark Nelson said of this weekend's challenge: "Blaydon is a notoriously difficult venue, it's like going in to the lion's den, so it will be a tough encounter."

"We're mixing things round a bit this week, as we have a couple of knocks and availability of players which we knew about beforehand.

"There are elements of youth in the squad that we are using, and with the use of rollings subs, we're able to bring good ball carriers off the bench."
