Burnley begin their season tomorrow with a 3pm kick off at Thornton Cleveleys in a Lancashire Plate match this Saturday .The winners will play the victors of the Aldwinians v Ashton under Lyne tie in the semi final after Christmas.Burnley will be hoping to put down a marker in the first of their three encounters this season with the home side.Ref is Joe Matthews from the Manchester Society.The address is Victoria Road East FY5 3SX with the clubhouse at the Ashley across the road.Elsewhere most of our league rivals are in action be it Cup or friendlies before the big kick off next week.
