Clubhouse has arrived
Y MORFA VENUE - Clubhouse 2 of 3

2. Clubhouse has arrived

Following the end of the first team season there have been significant changes at Y Morfa already, most notably the installation of a new clubhouse building.

The club have moved swiftly to have the building delivered and erected, with the aim of opening the facility ahead of next season.

There have also been improvements made to the disabled access and facilities at the ground, with numerous other projects in the pipeline.

These include upgrades to the floodlights, establishing emergency lighting in both the Main and North stands, repairing damaged seating and the installation of a new public address system.

Work will continue on the clubhouse over the coming weeks, as the Tangerines look to create a building that will become an asset to both the football club but also the local community.

Structural changes are anticipated to take approximately three weeks before internal fitting out can begin.

This will include a main function room with bar area, a kitchen serving food both for the function room and also pitch side on a match day. There will also be club offices installed, to provide a central hub for club work.

This is the first project in a very busy and exciting time for Conwy Borough, with the club looking to make real progress off the field over the coming months. The academy launch will also be happening soon, as the Tangerines look to begin implementing a long term vision for the future of the club.

The club would also like to take this opportunity to thank Cartrefi Conwy, Conwy County Borough Council, WCVA and Cyfenter for their support and enabling us to introduce such a resource.

We will endeavour to keep everyone up to date with all developments over the coming and look forward to seeing you all at the ground next season.
